As a wife the only male friends I have are mutual onew with my husband. There can be no such thing as an individual female/male friendship. One will always eventually let the nature kick in. Your mate is supposed to be your friend, lover etc...
So, when you have difficulties then who will she talk with about her problems with you.....HIM? How long before he moves into the comfort zone. There's no such thing as friendship with the opposite sex. There are many so called people having affairs with "friends".

Thats kind of like asking ......is it ok for your wife to have a job working with males? Both sexes are out there everywhere. And if shes going to cheat she will do it with or with out your permission. So who or what her friend is shouldnt be an issue.....who cares. The real question should be do you love and trust each other, if so then dont worry about it.

It's OK for my wife to have one.
The question seems to be: Is it OK for YOUR wife to have a male friend!!!

there is nothing wrong with having a male friend as long as it's just that. I don't agree however that the friend and wife should be socializing outside of your marriage, unless you are present as well.

Yes, as long as he is nothing more than a friend. It is also okay for a husband to have a female friend, as long as friends are all they will ever be.
Seriously, friends come in both genders, different height, weight, ethnicity; you choose your friends because they have so much in common with you... but they're not people you would be romantically interested in.
If your wife acts suspicious around him... then I'd say be worried but other then that... it's okay.

My wife has male friends and I have female friends. We both trust one another so we do not have a problem with it.

As long as you are certain they are only friends. I have a few male friends who are important to me, but I could never think of them in a sexual way. My man knows I am not interested in anyone else but him, and he knows the friends are only friends - not lovers. I love my man enough to give up the male friends if he asked me to, but he is understanding enough to not ask.

YES. Marriage is based on trust. Just because she has a male friend, doesn't mean she is going to sleep with him. If she has a female friend whats to stop her turning lesbian?

Depends how close they are, and if I'm allowed to have a female friend who is at the same level of closeness. Now that's true equality!

if your wife has a male friend unbeknown to you, she is lying to you.
All should be truthful and all cards on the table.
