Brandon, I don't watch college football so I don't even know the Kentucky football team.

The score is not one sided because of defense, the score is one sided because one team is way better than the other. The match ups are rarely on par.

Guys, when I say one-sided, I don't mean every game, but most games. If you look at all the games for one saturday, most of them are high scoring or one-sided games. Compared to the NFL, there is no defense. Offense rules in college football.

OMG will you marry me? Heh...nah but that is the only reason I refuse to watch college football. There was a score the other day like 62-0 or something like that...I don't want to watch that crap, I wanna watch 27-24 Overtime Final...on the foot of Adam Viniteri...or some other super clutch kicker.... rock on...great "question"

As a diehard football fan it is nice to watch people play football because they love the sport, not to get a fat check. College games, are more intense and faster paced. Its great. The No Fun League has almost a minute between plays, thats so slow. I too am a USC fan which is cool now, but it was hard to root for them B.C. (before Carroll). I like that the rivalries still exist. I like that no matter how bad a team is, when playing a rival anybody can win. I like that there are 119 teams, of varying levels. Sure a USC-Notre Dame game can be fun with top notch talent. But that doesn't mean a North Texas-Trpy game can't be exciting. Jamario Thomas is a great back and will be drafted to play in the NFL. I like that going to the big house your already down a touchdown, because 113,000 fans in blue and maze will be screaming themselves horse. I love college football, can't wait until Aug. 30th.

I agree with you that college football is usually one sided. I however don't like the overtime rules in the NFL. I think each team should get at least one offensive possesion. If the first team scores then the other team has one shot to move the ball down field.

You should have the Michigan Wolverines' defense today!
Also, how can both of these be true?
1) "There is no defense."
2) "The score is one-sided."
If one team isn't scoring then it seems safe to say that the winning team's defense is working pretty well.
(The overtime rules are another matter, as is the Bowl Championship Series.)

Always one-sided scores:
Oregon 34, Oklahoma 33
Clermson 27, Florida State 20
Florida 21, Tennessee 20
And please tell me how not one-sided NFL scores are after the Indianapolis-Houston game today.
I don't care for the NCAA's overtime rules either, but the NFL's suck worse. So, as long as I win the coin flip, I win the game. Great system.

College is more one-sided for various reasons, one being that colleges don't have a 'draft', where the weaker teams have first choice of a player like the pros. Pro is all about parity, college is more wide open. College is my favorite to watch because it's more exciting and usually most of the players on a team are from that area, unlike the pros.

I'm not a huge fan of the college OT but the NFL's overtime is just TERRIBLE. I can't wait for the day a superbowl is won in OT on a fieldgoal.

college football has easier rules for offenses to score, like one foot in, instead of two, and there's more clock-stoppage.
I totally know how overtime rules work, so I can watch it, because I know exactly what's going on -- it can be very exciting.
