if you don't know how to do this little divison, try this. It has do do with fractions, decimals, and percents. Make 1/5 = 20/100. You could make a percent out of this (20%); not your question though. If you know place value of decimals, 20 hundredths is .20, or just .2.
Making the fractions out of 100 makes things a lot easier.

in long division just make the 5 the divisor (on the outside) and the 1 the dividend (on the inside). 5 cant divide 1 , so 0 is the first part of the quotient. then place a decimal after the 0 on the quotient line. next you kinda "bring in an invisible 0" next to 1 so you have ten as the dividend. since 5 go in 10 to leave 2 without a remainder, you have a final answer of 0.2. i hope you understand my explanation

It is 1 divided by 5. Since 5 doesn't go into 1, you add a decimal point and a zero. Five will now go into 1.0 0 .2 times.

1/5 is equal to 20/100, right? add a zero to your "0.2" to get 0.20 (it's the EXACT same thing) and say it out loud - twenty hundredths or 20/100, or 1/5.
just try to get the denominator of any fraction you have equal to 100 using a proportion. good luck! ^.^

whenever you have a fraction you have to firgure out what to multiply the bottom number by so it becomes 100 it yours case it would be 20, then if you multiply the bottom (denomerator) you need to also multiply the top (numerator). After all that you get 20/100 you can then move over two decimel places so 20 becomes .20
Hope I helped
