It was on in the late 80s or early 90s. It was a big screen that had smaller screens on it. You'd answer questions or something to get a screen taken away. Behind the screen would be a puzzle. It would have pictures depicting a phrase. For example, for the word "need" it would have a picture of a human knee, a plus sign, and the letter D. Does anyone remember this game? They even had a version for Nintendo!!

I believe the show you're talking about was "Concentration." It aired through most of the 1960s, and had a revival with Alex Trebek in the late 1980s (like you said).

The name of the game was "Classic Concentration". It was hosted by Alex Trebek ("Jeopardy"). You're right, it was on in the late 80's. Even though I was young, I still remember this show. I used to love it.

I remember that one, it was Concentration and your winnings got smaller as more of the puzzle was revealed.
