No and I admire you. I originally got one as a safety precaution because I traveled to and from my job at odd hours. Even with that, you are at the mercy of the cell zone you are in. I do carry this phone, but it's not sewn to my body like another appendage! I had a Motorola for years that was the size of a small cat and finally my friends suggested I join the new Century and upgrade. It was nice going smaller, but I am still not a cell phone freak. Enjoy your freedom and the minutes and hours and days without having to continuously chat or answer calls as you go about your day. I assume you have a phone at home, and in a pinch, you could use a pay phone when you are out and about. Good for you.

It seems as though everyone needs a cellphone now days, but what were we doing way back before cellphones???? The same thing we are doing today, just more efficiently. If you don't have one...don't worry about it. Although you might want to consider one for emergencies because you never know when you might have car trouble or you might be hurt and not near a land-line.

Not everybody needs one. But, it is really good for safety sake. If you are in the middle of nowhere and your car stops, if you have an accident, you run out of gas, you're abducted by aliens, a cell phone would be really good to have on hand. There are many plans available now. I have one phone that only gives me like 10 minutes a month for 15 dollars...or maybe the other way around, but I just carry it for emergencies.

I keep telling my boss I don't need one. Besides they don't work all that well. But a lot of businesses supply them to certain people in order to remain competitive. I think they are a necessity for anyone who travels long distances by car, just in case you get stranded or get a flat. But in general - no.

I was in a *fast food* place a few weeks back, and a group came in "together" (they all arrived in the same car) but none of them talked to each other. All 8 were holding conversations with the cell phones glued to their ears. How are you supposed to be a friend or have one?

Yes, everybody can benefit from having a cellphone. And, yes, you are the only person without one.

Cell phones come in handy in case of accidents or emergency. Unfortunately, it is abused and it is the cause of accidents because people cannot seem to get them off their ears. Like everything else, to much of a good thing is not good.

No, you're not the only one without one. I too choose not to have one. I get soooooo totally annoyed at people who truly believe that they have to be talking to someone, anyone, constantly.

I don't have one and have never experienced a need for one. Most people who have one are rude enough to interrupt other conversations just to chat about NOTHING !

I could probably get by without mine, but it does make life a little easier, as long as you don't leave it somewhere.
