macbook: deleting safari words?

Question

Basically when i open safari and go on www.yahoo.com i type something i want to search in the search bar. Every time i search for something, the words i typed are saved. How do i take away this feature and delete the saved words.

In the menu bar, go to Safari. Then select Empty Cache. See if that helps. Also make sure Autofill -> Other forms is turned off in the Preferences so it doesn't keep doing it.

This is one annoyance in Safari. I use Safari, and I LOVE it. There is really no solution other than emptying the cache or resetting safari, both options which can be found in the Safari menu.
