No, you can build a team around dirk, and hes a unique player. nash is a good player but i'd pick dirk any day.

Steve nash is the best player
and dirk is ok..
so I think steve is a lot better than dirk

No way.... if Dirk was on any other team in the league, he would be responsible for atleast 42 points a game... 20 in the paint, 10 from Mid range and 12 from three. Let's be serious, a 7 footer who CAN do everything (Except maybe play "D")

no its obvious dirk is better than steve yes steve got the mvp trophy but dirk is the only 7 footer player who got the skills to shoot in long range and all around plays. nash got two players around him that i think will over power him in the hard court thats marion and stoudemire

no i think that Dirk is better than steve. Steve has his limitations... remember a big player that can dribble and stuff is always a better player, Nowitzki can shoot just as well as steve, yeah his passing is a bit infereior but i think overall Dirk is a better palyer.

steve is a better point guard and dirk is a better forward! but dirk is an all around better player! so i pick dirk! and steve is over-rated!

Steve Nash is far superior. Look at how Nash makes his entire team better - virtually unknown guys from last season i.e. Tim Thomas, Raja Bell, Leandro Barbosa all became instantly famous, posting career seasons, not to mention Shawn Marion who also made career highs. He makes everyone better.. and there was NO Amare Stoudamire!
Dirk on the other hand needs the support of other guys like Jet Terry etc. He peformed poorly in the playoffs and thanks to his team mates, they pulled it off.

I see you have a varied list of answers, that may be, because you are trying to compare apples to oranges. A lot of players can not be compared to each other, due to height or positions they play among other things.
