Two choices... have it published or self-publish. Each method has its positives and negatives. If you have it published by a professional company, it will take time and alot of rejections before you get a bite on it. Some companies will want you to pay them. That's not the route you want to go. If you self-publish, you have the rights to market it on your own but you lose the national exposure and thereby reduce your profitability until it is discovered. Before you submit it either way make sure you have it reviewed and edited professionally and that it's ready for print. Then it's just a matter of waiting for a "bite" that could make you the next Stephen King or Truman Capote. Authors first attempts are usually not sought out but don't give up. Get it out there to those who can help you market it either professionally or on your own.

You need to get help from a person older than 21. That person (maybe your mom or dad) will be your representant. He or she would sing all the papers, but it would be your name on the cover! Then, you would have to look for some editorial that wants your book. DON'T WORRY... MANY COMPANYS MAY REJECT YOUR BOOK, BUT KEEP LOOKING, DON'T GIVE UP!!
And good luck! I'm thinking about publishing a novel too!! And, hey, let me know what's the name of ur book to buy it when you publish it! :)

You can try self publishing. It is very hard to get published through the traditional publishing houses. Or you can turn it into an e-book.

I am sorry, but since when is a 13 year-old considered a young adult? No offense to you, adn I am so glad that you wrote a book and would love to read it, but I am really stuck on this "adult" word. How about we try....teenager?
