I have ridden in many over the years. "Best" will depend on many factors, including your general shape and your budget. In general, I prefer the Pessoa and the Beute (sp?). The Pessoa is a well made saddle that will last for many years. The Beute will cost more, but is my personal favorite for comfort (it feels good brand new).

I personally prefer an Aussie saddle as I need a horn sometimes when the horse acts up and I also like the bumpers, they help me keep my stright position on the horse. I bought a nice one for $250.00

ask yourself some questions before buying any saddles. First...what are you planning on doing with your horse? competitions? what kind? trail ridding? pleasure? then ask what size you need for your behind and the size of tee your horse needs. then you can consider buying a saddle of you choice. My friend loves her Australian, I love my western, but competition is English most of the time. Good luck!!
