ok i am trying to install the sims 2. i had it installed on my computer in the past, but i uninstalled it, and now i cannot install it . i put in the 3rd cd., it was at 57%, and it told me that it cannot copy the file... what can i do?

Support at EA has a step by step series of files you can follow. If they still don't work, contact EA with the tab that says "Contact Us" and they can send you a new disk if nothing else is working.

check for scratches on the cd and if so wipe from the inner circle outwards with a moist damp cloth, if that doesn't work then you either have to re-purchase it or find it for free on some pier to pier file sharing place.
