My kids attend a school that has very poor performance once the kids hit grade 7. I prefer that they enroll in our local Catholic School but cannot afford it. Where is the George Bush who said that people could receive these? Is D.C. the only city awarded these special vouchers?

I don't think just anyone can randomly get those. I think your school has to be on the list of low performing schools according to NCLB for at least 2 years and then you can get a voucher. That's the way I understand it anyway. I could be wrong, though.

I am still waiting too. Mother of a 5th grader in desperate need for the education system to get its act together.

Columbus Ohio was giving them away,and people was not taking them,I don't know want school system your in but the are hiding this from you
