I usually use liquid but it's a pain and it's usually worn off by lunch time.

And I also don't want to clog my pores a lot.

The best thing is to try both and see which works best for your skin type and life style. Also using one foundation product for those days that you want to look very nice and another for those quick on the go days. My favorites is the Mary Kay line (I am a Mary Kay consultant).
#1. You get to try before you buy! so you won't have "stuff" under your sink that you have tried and didn't work
#2. 100% satisfaction! If you do buy and it doesn't work, trade or complete refund. No kidding!!!
#3. A Mary Kay consultant that will work with you! who will know you and your skin and help you through those skin changes.

I prefer to use liquid foundation because it has more of a look to it and it stays on better. The powder comes off easier in my opinion and if you don't put it on right on you can have more streaks on your face than you could with liquid foundation.

So I say liquid foundation rocks.

I suggest MINERAL foundation loose or pressed powder. Physicians Formula found in most drug stores (Walgreen's for sure) or Sheer Cover as advertised on TV. Phone: 1-800-927-0176. These products do not clog your pores! I am 64 and have had problems with break outs all my life until I started using mineral products. No more breakouts and a smooth natural look! Try it and you will never go back!

I wear Bare Minerals and I love it. For me it's a lot easier than liquid. Bare Minerals won't clog your pores either, you can control the coverage and it has a natural SPF15.

It really all depends on your skin type. Powder foundation is better for people with oilier skin, whereas liquid foundation is better for dryer skin. For lasting coverage, a liquid layer and a touch of powder works wonderful!

Powder because liquid clogs your pores and causes acne.

i use this coverup thats in a stick and u turn the bottom and it comes out. and i lighltly dab my finger over it to blend it, and then sometimes if i need to i put a small amount of powder on.

but honestly they both have there ups and downs. liquid wears off, and if you put to much powder on you look like a cake.
