serious question about the middle east and Islam faith?

ok heres a question/ comment. its is involving the rallys and anger going on now about a comment the pope has made in reguards to the islam faith. now the pope stated that islam faith is evil to be practicing faith at the hand of the sword. he quotes a line from the bible of his faith. now the muslim people in the middle east are starting fires screaming chanting demanding an appaulagy and yadda yada. now a quote from the holy qu'ran"any muslim of faith shall not befriend a christian" it also goes on to say in an unquoted way that muslims shall behead any christian. guns are illigal in the middle east and are only held by the police. every friday in 90% of all middle eastern cities riyadh included being the capital of saudi arabia they hold beheadings still to this day (at the hand of the sword) for rapist, muders and petty repeat offenders. now can you tell me where its wrong for the pope to say something he believes(a quote from his bible of his faith) not his opinion ,but his faith

I am not Catholic but the pope had a right to say whatever he pleased. The remarks of the Byzantine Emperor seemed to be appropriate for the 14th century and reflected his opinion. At best it can be criticized as being opinion rather than fact. The pope can give his opion, relate someone else's opinion and practice his faith. If it is offensive to Muslims then they should write letters or something in a rational way. Burning churches and killing nuns is only going to reinforce the reputation of Islam being violent. It will not stop the criticism.

I understood he was quoting someone from the time of the crusades.. after they returned from running the moors out of europe. But, the hate that has developed since then has become red hot..it is regularly stressed in the madrassas and is directed at all of western civilization. They are commanded by their prophet, to take over the world and create one world religion.. guess who's it is to be. Any muslim not following that commandment is considered to be an infidel (along with the rest of us) and will be killed also. It remains rather amazing how there are so many remaining oblivious to this reality. Would be of more interest if one took the time to read in revelations, revealing what is taking place right now.

First to all people who think that Islam is evil. Could you tell me if Pope sees Islam as so evil can he or you explain me WWI, WWII etc were the main players were not Muslims but Christians, Jews etc. Mrcricket said this is all happening because madrasses are teaching hate then let me ask this to you were is Pope learning his hate from since he hates Islam so much that he is lying about Islam in his speaches and when caught red handed he apologieses.

Have you ever been around middle-easterners? I want to vomit every time I think of them . It is worse when I am around them which is getting to be less and less. Are they right? I don't know and don't care. I know personally I could never stomach them. What is right for them will never be right for me. According to Islam, you and all of us are here for them to do their bidding. Kill, rape or anything they want. That is part of their belief. Do you think that is OK? Muslim women are to be "protected" which means stay in their place and do whatever they are told to do.

On the other hand there are many things about The Christian religion I question. No need to single them out. Though they are not so violent, in my thinking they are equally bizarre.

pretty serious stuff. should be that we all live in peace. but reality is not that simple. all comes down to beliefs, right? so, let people believe as they wish. the pope believes its wrong to behead people. everybody probably thinks that as well. but criminals should be punished. the pope probably thinks the executions in the USA are wrong as well. simply, can't please everybody.
