I'd use some good strong cardboard, cut a hole in the centre and put sticky backed plastic over it all (to make it waterproof) then I'd fill it with water, put some plants in, some carrots cut into goldfish shapes, and hey presto, instant wet carpet.

not unless you understand weight and pressure per square inch
there's a lot more to it than just glueing five pieces of glass together

not cost effective and you have to be accurate with your measurements as it can not be cut to rectify any piece thats to big even by a fraction
