I just purchased a foreclosed home and the previous owners broke eggs on the kitchen counters and the rotten egg smell is difficult to get rid of. Does anyone know how to get rid of the odor?

Nasty problem, I hope you find a solution fast! Maybe not the cheapest ($747) but I love mine. An air purifier that cleans surfaces as well. Get's rid of all odors. Look at http://www.healthylivingia.com for information.
Good thing is that you can use it to get rid of all smells, and I don't have a stuffy nose in the morning anymore :)

I will attest to Odoban. If you don't have a SAms it might be at you rlocal pet shop or buy a bit off your Vet.

They say tomatoe juice will remove skunk smell you might try soaking it waht a bit of tomatoe juice. Lemon juice from real lemons.

WAl-Mart sells a product called De-Solve. It is petroleum based. I have used it to take blak , used motor oil out of white carpet.

Another suggestion! YOur local pet shop should have a product or tow that used a bacteris that literally eats organic matter. They will get the urine smell out of wood and carpet and carpet pad.

But if I were you I would start with the OdoBan. You can also contact ath company online http://www.cleancontrol.com/MenuFloorCare.html

I'd make a paste of baking soda on the area. Leave it for
a while to help with removal of the odor and than wash
it throughly. It can't hurt to use alittle bleach after to will kill
any bacteria.

Odoban which can be found at Sams Club is used in alot of Veternarian offices and I personally have 4 dogs and 2 cats and it has worked for me.
Have you tried the cheap method of using bleach full strength?

Buy baking soda and rub it on the counters. Let it be there for a couple of minutes, wash off with warm water. If that doesn't work, use bleach.

Assuming that you've already cleaned as well as humanly possible I suggest the Oust fan. I love them. I've found them to eliminate all lingering foul odors.

BUY YOUR OWN ,

DO NOT RENT FROM COLI GUN MAN. IN THE LONG RUN IT WILL COST YOU MUCH LESS.
