once when my mom was dating this guy, me and his son always got into fightds, and I won all the time. one day, he got really mad and chased us, me, my brother and sister, to my sisters room.He was banging and screaming at us through the door and our favorite guy, our almost step-brother was trying to get him away from the door. He could have killed us if my mom had not shone up an hour later.(her work is an hour away) AND MY GRANDMA CALLED AND TOLD MY MOM WHAT WAS GOING ON AND SHE SAID SHE WOULD BE THERE AS SOON AS SHE GOT OFF work. we had put chairs and her bed agianst the door, and when my mom got there they could not get him to clm down and he slapped my mom across the face.that was the scariest moment of my life. and i feel like my mom does not treat us like she used to,ahe works way too much and she does not have anytime time for us. and it has affected our family real bad.what should a 12 year old girl like me do about this.....................................................

I'm sorry that your life is that way. One thing you do need to understand is it takes alot of money to raise a family so your mom is going to have to work alot. This will make things hard on you and your brother and sister, but try to do things with one another and keep the family there, mom will slow down soon. As for her boyfriend ( I hope she doesn't have that one anymore) maybe she shouldn't leave them at home with you all until she knows them really really really good. Hang in there!

I can't believe what you're going through! When I was 12, my parents were trying to get back together, from being sepperated for like 6 years. It was really hard on me and my brother. They were fighting alot, and I began to really really dislike my dad. I became very rebellious. But, I learned to not take crap from no one, stay on top of school work, be so athletic. It made me so strong that they were fighting and my dad and I were always fighting. I said to myself Yeli, you just have to do everything 10x's better. and I did (I'm getting to the point LOL) I never really talked to my parents and I was used to talking to them all the time and they were always there for me and I didn't think they cared about me at all. I just talked to my friends instead of my mom. What you really need to do girl, is just tell your mom how you feel. I haven't been exactly where you are. But I was in such stress when I was 12. Just talk to your mom, I never did and I'm not close to my parents like I was when I was little! Hope all works out!

Was this a fight between kids or was it the almost step father who chased you and your siblings? It makes a very big difference in what should be done. If almost step-parent did this, it is time for him to be out of the picture completely and you should feel no guilt. If it was almost step-brother, remember that you were all children. Really need to know if the one who was slapping and chasing was an adult or a child.

what who tried to attack u? ur moms boyfriend or her boyfriends son ? what . Any way i think u shoud talk to someone ie: school councler, principal or someone in ur family thats not anywhere "in" the situaltion someone u have to describe every moment so they dont choose sides because they dont like someone or something trust me school conclers help. good luck hope evrything woks out for the best .

Your mother needs to press charges. She also needs to send this crazy kid home and if she refuses, you need to call the dept of children and family services to report an unsalfe home environment.
