Xbox all the way. PS2 is old tech nowadays.
PS2 =$150
Xbox =$200
You can get a used Xbox or PS2 at either EB Games or Gamestop for pretty cheap. Check your local strip mall.)
I suggest you go to www.xbox.com and www.sony.com and look at the catalog of games that each console has. You can also see trailers for upcoming games.

Xbox all the way. Ps2 has junk like Grand Theft Auto. Also Xbox you can get Xbox live and talk to people and make friends. Also it's got Halo and Halo2. The origonal Xbox is cheaper now and shoulnt cost that much. I would get the 360 because you can download classic arcade games and demos for new games. Also the graphics and stuff are real good. *whisper* dont listen to that other dude Darren. :)

you can go to a local pawn shop and purchase an xbox 360 for 250 dollars if that is not suitable for you than i think the regular xbox is better the only thing different is that you cant play dvd movies on the xbox without a remote

dude, listen to me. i have both. xbox's are more unrealible, and pretty much the only game they have going for them is halo and halo 2. i havent used my xbox in like a year. ps2 has a lot of cool games, dont dont crap out as easy, and they are cheaper. plus, with every dollar you dont spend on a xbox is another dollar that bill gates dosent get.

the playstations are pretty fairly priced the new slim design is pretty neat. xbox is pretty expensive you will probably pay about 300 bucks for it.
