Have we been assimilated into the Boomer world? I look around and it seems like everyone is older or younger than me. I started out on classic rock, grew up with the Police, Ozzy, Pat Benatar...and found alternative to be the voice I could relate to in my twenties. Now I look around and I can not tell who still listens to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, STP... I am not making any judgements, just confused. If I saw you on the street, how would I know you?

I agree, 1971 baby...i like cars, but i hate going to car shows of any kind, because they start playing that retarded bebop music of the 1950s.
I just had a friend burn me a CD with Interstate Love Song on it!
You would know me because i look like im a deer caught in the headlights

Boomers outnumber X and their kids are the Y so everyone is older or younger (my observation as well) but its all a cycle I mean look the 80's is slowly becoming cool again....who would ever think??..and the music that got you through your twenties will be re-discovered by another generation just as classic rock was for us...hang in there there will be a more familiar future to come.

Gen xers are people born from 65 to the early 80s.

Let's face it boomers were the largest generation just by birth by the time gen xers came along birth control had been around about 5 years .

The echo generation is the generation born in the mid 80s til now, the children and sometimes grandchildren of the boomers.

True there aren't as many of you , gen xers as there are boomers, but for awhile there the greatest generation seemed to have more people around than the boomers. It happens.

You probably wouldn't see alot of us on the street. We have jobs, children and families.

Oh, and they're playing our music on elevators now.
