Call the Newspaper company in East Louis, IL where the Article was published and give them the information on your Father. They can find the article in ARCHIVES.

With the date of death, newspapers will have an archive of the article, but you may have to pay.

I tried to google it, but I couldn't find an online obituary for him - try the newspaper and ask how to get an archived obituary - also the local library may have one.
