It is really difficult to find friends and things to do at a new campus as a transfer student especially when you are already living off-campus.

I'm sure the college has things planned for students to get to know each other. I know my college has that and you don't have to live on campus to attend them. They have a movie night and tons of other activities. You should look into it. Look on bulletin boards and go to the University Commons (thas what it is called at my school) and ask about the activities. You could even go on their website and get their calendar. It might list other stuff for you to do as well.

I hope this helps! Don't worry you'll make friends in no time!

Join a fraternity/sorority. Not all of them are the same. Some of them are special interest like pre-law students or pre-med. The whole stereotypical greek life comes from social fraternities and sororities. Also, I know my school had a transfer student association, so you might want to try joining that and get to know people. Good luck.

I know its hard but you can join a group. Most majors have offerings. You can also introduce yourself to your classmates and get to know people who also live off campus. Most people I've met are friendly to new students, you just have to be open to trying.
