Connecting laptop to internet?

I have a modem on my main pc with cable internet. I have a dell latitude d600 laptop. Im pretty sure the laptop has wireless internet heres a link to the specs of it http://www.dell.com/downloads/us/products/latit/d600_spec.pdf#search=%22dell%20latitude%20d600%20specs%22

please help me figure out how to connect it to the internet!

You need a wireless router. Run you modem into the router, router to the desktop and Your laptop anywhere in range.
