After my great grandparents passed away, my family moved into their house. But the attic was full of bats. We had to call a company called the bat man and he came and removed them. There were literally thousands of them that they took and relocated, so they were all safely removed and released.

I live in Grayslake, Illinois and in the summertime when my wife and I are in the back yard and it starts to become dusk there will be bats flying around. Fun to watch and they are pretty much harmless. I hear you can buy bat houses and they will live in them, but I have not seen one yet.

a lot of people where i live build bat houses, much like bird houses, to attract bats. bats eat lots of bugs at night so many people like to have them around. bat houses also help prevent bats from moving into people's attics.

Yes. When I was a kid, bats used to occasionally get into our house, and sometimes, we had a tough time getting them back outdoors without harming them.
