Apple has set new prices for the various capacities of their iPod Nano DAP's. The 4 GB models are $199, and the 8 GB model is $249. Historically, the prices on all iPod makes and models have been for the most part fixed and haven't been reduced by much over time. The SanDisk Sansa e200 series, a similar product, has been known to lower their prices and I hope to get the e280, the 8GB model, for around $200 later hopefully.

Prices on flash ram, which is what the nano uses, are coming down. Maybe we'll see a price change once the holiday period begins.

It wont come down alot. But dont rush for the new Ipods right now. Probably Creative or some other good brands will have new better and cheaper mp3 players soon.
