Well it is the positive. You would never fuse a ground. Only if you ground a hot wire will it blow the fuse.

So put the fuse on the positive side of the battery

on all cars the red cable is the positive and the black is the negitive and the other wire is general on the red cable do not hook them wrong you well need a shop to repair it then. good luck.

Better check your other fuses, as you probably blew one of them. Good luck.
