What Is an Indigo Person?

I hear this term bantied about, but noone's explained it to me. What is an 'Indigo person' supposed to be?

No, not a joke, but a fascinating phenomenon. Mind you, I do not endorse any particular interpretation, but it is fascinating.

The point is that these children are more common lately than in past years, but I wonder if it isn't just that they are more open about what has been experienced for centuries. But you probably know kids like this yourself. We use expressions like "has an old soul," or otherwise recognize that they are more aware than most kids their age, and more in control of themselves. And of influence on others in ways that may at times be unsettling. I saw a movie about them that was based on a true story, or pasted together from several true stories, I think. Anyway, whether literal or not, I'm inclined to believe it was quite possibly true one particular scene that was very indicative. The little girl, who was an indigo, woke up an Alzheimer's patient.

Think what that would mean. Somehow getting past the fog that had encompassed the man's mind, which apparently is due to actual physical changes in the brain, and wake him up. Return him to his family as if he'd just been napping for the past several years, like Rip Van Winkle.

Makes me sincerely hopeful that it is true.

An Indigo person is someone with intuitive capabilities. Indigo children are said to have indigo blue auras and have psychic abilities.

I am an indigo child. We are born with more natural psychic abilities. Our auras are indigo, hence the name. Just because you are not indigo doesn't mean that you are not pyschic. Everyone is psychic some more than others. Check out these sites:

They are supposed to be cosmic souls or old souls or people who have some spirit or even physical connectionto higher beings in another part of the galaxy, and they are assumed to have come here to help us regular humans.
