You know summer is finally over:
when you feel that you need to wear a sweater in the afternoon,
when you see the leaves start to go brown,
when you turn back the clock one hour,
when you feel like crying because its all so gloomy,
when you put on extra underwear,
when you cut pumpkin and make face,
when the children start yelling for halloween costumes,
when you start worry about your christmas lists,
when you start looking for old ornaments,
when the garage sale over,
when people start cleaning up their yard to put Halloween's set,
when the day seems to go so slow....

Well this weekend will still be pretty warm-getting up between 25 and 28 on Sunday! :-) I think Summer is officially over around the 23rd of September.

Yes and I'm happy.
We have been sitting with the doors open in the afternoon and it's so pretty outside. I like to sit and watch the cows eat...lol
We covered the pool today too.Won't be long and the snow will come.

When I have to get up at 6 am, I know that summer is over. :) I love the cool weather, too...it's so nice to have fresh air through the windows!

When the leaves start changing colors.. in about a few weeks summer will pretty much be over.. Boo Hoo!! soo sad..

Florida, yikes. My summer doesn't end until late November/early December when I can no longer ride the bike to/from work.

well...lol. you know summer is over when u wake up in the morning and its not hot. also your mom cals and says hey where can i get a good deal on winter boots? or when you go shopping and u see all the parents buying school supplies.
