Wait a day and take another test, just to be sure, but you will definately know if it's positive. There is no mistaking it. Or try getting one of the ones that doesn't use lines or plus/minus signs but rather says "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant". The last time I went to the store and bought a home pregnancy test there were at least 1 or 2 like that.

Well, you're really not supposed to read them after about 10 minutes or so.
The line could be one of two things - an "evaporation line" (look it up), which would not be the bright line, or a real faint positive.
When I got pregnant, I took a test in the morning, and it was negative. I took one again in the afternoon, and it was positive. I looked at the test from the morning, and it DID in fact have a faint positive.
So my advice? Take another test.

Usually a pregnancy test is not valid after 10 minutes most anyway , so you probably aren't pregnant. test again in a week and it should come up positive right off if you are . i took 2 pregnancy test and they came up positive right off but 1 hour later they were negative the line can change. so 10 minutes is the max i think you should wait.

Your'e in luck I myself have had experience in that field. When I was pregnant with my daughter I had took a pregnancy test and it came out the same as yours. There was a faint pink line and I was confused. I went to the clinic the next day and they told me it was because it was too early to tell. The pregnancy hormone doesn't show strong enough to make a positive pink line, but it shows that you may be pregnant. In other words, it's a maybe!

That happened to me..my son is now 3 yrs old. I took the test one night and nothing showed up then the next morning there was 2 lines. Everyone said that is was an evaporation line but I went to the Dr. anyway and found out I was 3 months preg. Good Luck.

Take another test in a few days to make sure but you might be pregnant. I had a faint line because of how early I took the test and I was pregnant. Just take another and/or go to the doctor to be sure.

Sometimes the faint positive sign shows up after the test gets old. It doesn't generally mean anything but if you feel any doubts at all take it again.

home tests are not supposed to be looked at after like 10 minutes. If you are really concerned then wait until your first pee of the day and take a test again. This is when the most hormones would be in your system. But blood tests are the best way to go.

Check the directions. Some tests have an evaporation line; if you look at a negative test past the time on the directions you could see that line and mistake it for a + test
