Yes he is a threat to democrazy in his disregard of the checks and balances placed in our government and its foundation, the Constitution.

Even Republicans are now standing up and stating, "there are three branches of government, not one."

If he is allowed to erode the powers of the legislative and judicial branches as he is trying to, then democracy as we know will erode.

The three branches of our government were designed to be co-equal to provide endurance of the republic. We've really outlived the expirement, so it's no surprise Bush is succeeding.

Further evidence of his being a threat to democracy is his marginalization of the media with his "attack the messenger" rapport when questions are posed he is uncomfortable answering; his paying info-journalist to plug his programs; his insistence on a secret government rather than a transperent one that is accountable to the citizens; his failure to have contingency plans in place for the Iraq War (maybe there will be an insurgency? ); his implied consent of treason by retaining in his administration Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Scooter Libby (he resigned), and Richard Armitage. I could go on and on and on.

"Would someone please give him a bj so we can impeach him?"

2. ) The Patriot Act

3. ) Wiretapping

4. ) The porposal to ammend the constitution in favor of what is declared torture!

Unless President Bush can somehow overthrow extremely effective system of checks and balances, he is no threat whatsoever. Of course if you're into conspiracy theorys like "The Company" in the FOX show, Prison Break, then anything is possible...

No. You are a threat to democracy for asking such an asinine question.

Yes do you really have to ask? Just look at the patriot act and the changes to the constitution. Do you actually feel freer in the last five years? Do you feel safer? I don't.

Don't let your paranoia get the best of you - Bush will be gone in two more years - and you'll have someone else to kick around with your moronic questions.

And please, support it with why you think so. How did you come to this conclusion?

No, but he is a threat to avarice and greed. He wants it all, no matter how many little people he has to abuse to get it.
