Your significant other of two years (and live with) went to a cousin's birthday party attended by many family members on his side, even though you weren't invited, because a certain cousin doesn't like you.

That's not cool. Your boyfriend should have put his cousin in his/her place.

You are his girlfriend. If you're not invited, he shouldn't have gone without you.

You need to talk to him, because that to me sounds like you'll never be anything other than a live in girlfriend.

I hope eventually in days they find heart to say sorry or are you the same way to the cousin? Wouldn't the world be different if we could feel better even if there is the dislike. Fingers cross that whoever just forgot to say for you by mistake. At least hopfully everything else is working out!

Don't think that is to bright on his part. If he really cared about you he should have stayed home with you and told his cousin that he wasn't going if you were not invited.

I'd feel bad. And instead of telling it to others on Y.A., I'd tell that TO HIM. How could he go without you just because of the hysteric cousin?
I don't get it.

I would be pissed off...because the other cousin should respect you as is woman anyway....whether they liked you or not. And he should not have gone to the party if you couldn't go.

You know they don't like you, so who cares if he goes without you?

Why do you want him to choose you over his family? Why can't he have both, and you just be happy with the time you have with him?

Never ever come between a person and their family, you will lose everytime.

I'd be glad he didn't make me go with him. It's his family; they will always come before anything else.
