Tell her that he seems like a really sweet boy and you are really happy for her. Then give her a warm and loving hug and tell her that if she ever wants to talk about boys, you'd love to indulge her curiosity.

I think it's beautiful when a child falls in love. It's so innocent and sweet. You should be there supporting her and be there to help her pick up the pieces if it doesn't work out. But you should encourage her to love and not shy away from it. Your sister deserves to be the happiest person in the world. You can help her with that.

I wish you and your sister the best of luck!

Right now what she's feeling is probably just puppy love. Encourage her to share her feelings with you and let her know that you can be a friend that she can confide in. As long as the situation doesn't get out of hand just keep an eye on her from a distance. If you notice that things are getting too serious talk to her as a friend to make sure that she doesn't go too far. I too had a crush on a boy when I was 11 years old and we were both in the same sixth grade class. This year we will be celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary.

#1 nothing, say nothing, let her make her own decision and experiences.
or
#2 state simple statements, or ask simple questions...do not use her name or "you", for example.
"Could it be true, that your friend likes him too?"
"This guy seems interesting, tell me about him"
"Is this person worthy of love letter?"

Criticizing or judging will be hurtful to her developing mind and soul. She is in the early teens and these crushes are very normal. So be supportive or neutral, but never belittle her. Never make fun, what she sees in him, might be very special to her right now. So don't pick on her or her "choices". Your sister-hood is more important!!!

tell your little sis to wait. she may think she's in love with the guy but tell her its just a phase. also explain to her that all she has is a crushand crushes only break your heart if you fall into them to deeply. let her know that when the time is right the guy will fall for her and she won't have to chase him and send him love letters. let her best friend know too!!! good luck!!

Be supportive in a watchful way. Have some "sister-talk" to find out a bit more e.g.how serious the whole thing is.

OK talk to her before her and her friend get into a cat fight. Tell her that she must dress as nice as she can to impress the dude better than her Friend. But you can just tell her that her friend can have the dude and find her a hot 11 year old.

you do nothing at all, as its only puppy love, if you pull her about it, she will be upset, if all that happen is her sending him letters thats ok, its if anything physical happesen then you do something,
it would also depend on the boys age ?
if he is older then maybe have a word with your parents

leave her alone. wat's with her sending him love letters. if she get's crushed it'll only be for a while, then she'll find somwone new. about her best friend thing, i guess it depends on who liked him first. i dont know, they're 11. the people they like are only crushes.

let them be. your sister is starting to mature, and she's just going through a phase. who cares if the guy is shorter than she is anyway?
