My choices are endless but to name a few:
Worst: Uncle Krackers remake of Drift Away
Worst: Christina Aguilera's- Lady Marmalade
Worst: Michael Bolton does Sinatra
Best: John Coltrane-My Favorite things
Best: Whitney Houstons-national Anthem
Best: Simply Reds-Holding back the Years
The best doesnt mean that they did it better but kept the integrity of the original recording.

I agree with All Along the Watch Tower and also Mr. Tambourine man by the Byrds and the Them version of "It's All over Now Baby Blue." -all original Bob Dylan songs. I think the worsts are Eric Clapton's cover of "I Shot the Sheriff", Brittany Spears version of "Satisfaction," Jessica Simpson's version of "These Boots are Made for Walking, " the Sheryl Crow version of "Sweet Child O' Mine" (horrible!), and the Duran Duran version of "911 Is A Joke."

I love Marilyn Manson's version of Tainted Love and Sweet Dreams.

I'd have to say the worst is Run Like Hell by Kittie, originally by Pink Floyd. I love love LOVE Kittie, but you can't really put a heavy metal twist on a song by a classic, mellow band.

I'm with you all the way with "Bolton Does Sinatra." What a disgrace to all mankind. He should get at least 10 years for that!

As for the best, I have to say none. I always like the originals the best!
