i always thought Back to Nature was the best one, until i tried friends of mineral town on gba, which now holds place #2 to me.

FoMT is almost exactly like BtN, the town layout is almost the same, which is great, it's just a little updated is all

a wonderful life, on gamecube, was actually done nicely enough

but HM DS is awesome so far. it came out on wednesday 9.13 and i'm already halfway through summer.

there is a curious thing about HM DS. if you insert your copy of FoMT, it will unlock the Minerel Town characters. if that copy of FoMT had linked to AWL on gamecube, the gamecube version's character you play will have a grave in DS.

supposedly this is because DS takes place 100 years after AWL.

so how come... Van travels from AWL (where he originally appears) to FoMT... and is in DS?

how come all the AWL characters aren't 100 years older in DS...? weird

I like the game. Nintendo systems have more versions, though, you know.

me and my husband purchased it harvest moon 64, and we both hated it! We thought it very preachy and well, to overtoned with religion to enjoy any game aspect.I don't know about other versions, but our experience with that one has made us never want to try one again.
