Yes I have. When I first got my liscense they had a box you could check. I am wondering though if I mihg t change it. I mean, how does god feel about that? It's just kinda weird. Especially giving your eyes. They say your eyes are the window to your soul.

Yes, you are correct, and heck, I won't need them anymore so why not let someone else have them when it can make their life that much richer.

I just hope that when I die and my organs are donated that I will have a way to see the joy that I have brought someone elses life. To be able to see the happiness on the faces of that person's (or peoples) family (or families) would be beautiful.

There are just not enough people that think ahead and inform their families of their wish to donate their organs. If there were more people the waiting lists for donors would be much shorter.

SIGN UP TO BECOME AN ORGAN DONOR NOW!!! I am!

Sorry, I'm planning on ascending, like Enoch Genesis 5:24
Just in case I slip into a deep coma, I don't want to wake up with any pieces missing.

Besides, I've heard that the Hospital & Doctors charge a fortune just to keep the body alive for days, until they can figure out, in their own sweet time, what to do with your parts, collect them, and dispose of the rest. Then they have the nerve to charge the reciepent for your parts, after they have dumped that big fat bill on your family. I hope there are laws against that now.

I think Organ donorship is a fantastic idea, and more people should do it. And I hope the families don't get the bill anymore.

Absolutely. I know that this causes issues with some families and their beliefs but I don't think it is an issue with Christianity. I think that anything that may ease pain and suffering for others is surely the Christian thing to do. I know of some one who was a recipient and how much it changed her life and I had a friend killed and her family decided to donate and made a huge difference in many lives by doing so and felt that her life had lasting meaning thru the donations

Yes, of course I have. It's easy to do when you renew or sign up for your driver's license. AND if you become an organ donor your license fee is discounted. What am I gonna do with my organs when I die? Someone else can make good use of them.

Yes. Actually, I am a living donor. Two years ago I donated my left kidney to an eight year old boy.

No, I have abused them so much that they are not doing me much good so they won't be of much help to any one else. Laugh if you want but you have no idea of the medications I am on or the amount of doctors that I have to visit on a regular basis. There might even come a time when I will need a transplant myself.

Yes. There actually isn't a way to sign up in my state (Ohio). They just ask you when you get your driver's license and they print it right on the front if you are an organ doner or not.

Yes, I have been one for about 15 years. Ever since my stepmother had a liver transplant. She received the gift of life from someone we never met and we thank them constantly in our prayers. Hasn't technology come a long way?

No, I will never be an organ donor. When we are resurected from the dead, we will be reunited with our bodies. I plan on having all my organs. There will be no embalming for me.
