Mexico had three years to process paper work to extradite the Dog and did nothing till they seen he had a show on A&E,now they stand to make some money off him! As to date Mexico harbors Mexican felons wanted in the United States for murder, rape, drug dealing, human smuggling, ect.. but refuse to aid in their arrest because some will get the death penalty. Save the Dog don't let him go to the pound in that ****-hole called mexico.

Hell no. Leave Dog alone. All he did was go after a perv who didn't want to do the time for what he did. Screw Mexico.

Dog the Bounty Hunter Special appeared on A&E last night. Critics may dismiss his plight because they see his show as a novelty. But I say to you this is of great import because there are three men’s lives at stake. This certainly deserves the attention of the public and the US government.

I am so incensed at his arrest and possible extradition back to Mexico. The whole thing is disgusting.

Duane “Dog” Chapman’s life and the life of son Leland & brother Tim hang in the balance over a minor misdemeanor – the capture of Andrew Luster – notorious rapist now serving 124 year sentence in prison.

While in custody in a US federal detention facility, their lives were threatened by familiar faces and other inmates seeking revenge for his bounty hunting profession. The Mexican prison’s conditions would be worse and they would most likely not live to serve the 4 month to 4 year sentence that misdemeanor carries.
“…. Mexico routinely declines to extradite suspects facing life in prison or the death penalty. Mexico's Supreme Court, which favors rehabilitation and views capital punishment and no-parole sentences as cruel, has blocked numerous extraditions until U.S. authorities agreed to lower the potential punishment a suspect faced in an American court.”
“Mexico itself has a mixed track record for returning fugitives. In the case of American citizens who flee to Mexico, it can take U.S. officials months or even years to get a fugitive returned if they have a good lawyer.”

I think it is wrong and they should not be charging The Dog for arresting a rapist. Who cares if he is from mexico. He did what he did and The Dog was going to make sure this guy was not going to rape again.

This is bull **** that United States as an agreement with Mexico. Which is quite ignorant that Mexico harbors a lot of criminals, instead of death penalty or prison, they go after someone who is doing something positive with his life by getting criminals off the street.

I plan to go to Hawaii in December and meet The Dog. I still hope I would be able to.

Hell no..Dog was going afer a criminal who needed to be picked up. If the Mexican Government believes tens of thousands of Mexican nationals can cross over into our country to do their work illegally, why are they raising so much sand about one American national who crossed the border to do his work???? It will be a sad day if the US allows Dog to be extradited and tried there...hypocritical!

If Mexico will not follow extradition treaties with the US, we have no moral or legal reason to extradite one of our citizens to them.

if mexico wants him so bad then they should take back all the illegals and stop helping the drug dealers that pay them to overlook all the sh!t that is being sent here. or if they take him then we need to put armed patrols all along the border with orders to shoot if anyone tries to cross.
