I recommend karate classes. You have to learn how to defend yourself.

When I was little and got hit I cried. We all do.
pain causes us to cry. If i'm in a fight before there is any hitting I shake and cried then I lose it. You shaking is a sign your going to go off and beat the he!! out of someone one day. Be careful.

Actually, I did once. It was during my divorce several years back, and my ex wife started slapping the crap outta me. I left, and it really hurt my feelings bad enough to make me tear up, because I was trying really hard and all she did was haul off and slap me. It was terrible. Let the jokes now begin about what a wuss I am.

I cried when my mommy hit me when I was a little kid. Not sure why it made me cry, though. Probably partly b/c it hur! Never been hit as an adult.

You should never allow ANYONE to hit you.

How can you fix that? Get away from someone who does not treat you with kindness and respect. You deserve better, and it starts with believing in yourself.

My eyes get teary not because I want to cry, I get so ticked off that I start to shake, and shake, and my face gets really red and I feel like there is steam about to come out of my ears. I avoid people that tick me off. For getting hit, I don't let anyone come near me with a fist. Or they themselves are going to cry.

That's an interesting question. First of all, I can't remember in all my days ever having someone actually HIT me.
If someone was to hit me, I think maybe I wouldn't cry. I think I'd probably black out and wake up in handcuffs in the back of a police car.

When I was in college, I was at a Frat Party one night and got drunk. I accidentally backed into another girl s (a semi-friend) car and she came out and punched me right in the face! I started to cry, cuz I felt so bad and ashamed! She went on and on until the guys having the party asked her to leave! Then I really felt bad, cuz it was my stupid drunk backing up that caused it in the first place! It took months before the two of us worked it out.

Are you being abused by your parents? Are you being bullied by punks at school?
If you're getting hit, I think you're crying because you're so shocked. Maybe you're crying because you're frustrated and angry that you won't hit back. It's humiliating to get hit. If you would be more specific about getting hit (like who's doing it), it would be easier to try to help you.
No, it's not weird to cry. It's human.

Absolutely, I cried.

My kids cry too.

It's normal.

Chimps cry.

Apes cry.

You're human. Stop trying to be Charles Bronson. Bottling up feelings like those will make you a cold person.
