I've also heard good things about Pro-active, but I personally haven't used it myself.

I use a Neutrogena Acne Bar and Benzaclin. It works... if you use it continuosly. Pro-Activ doesn't work all the time. I used it.. for my moderate acne. And nah. Only for about a month. But if you follow the regimen on www.acne.org.. that works too. I did that for a while, I just got lazy with it. It works REALLY well. When I was on that I used the same kind of acne soap, Neutrogena spot treatment, and just some plain Jergans.
Hope I could help!

My step-daughter had bad acne during puberty. Pro-active worked amazingly well. However it required constant use. After her hormones stabilized several years later she no longer needed it. Although she is still prone to a zit or two during the time leading up to the beginning of her cycle. For those small breakouts she has switched to clearasil and is perfectly happy with the results. I will add that I thought the Pro-active was just a scam when we purchased it for her, but in her case I was definitely wrong. It really did wonders for her problem, with constant use of course.

You wont find anything else like it. Its a little expensive but TOTALLY worth it. I havent had a zit in three years--compared to used to have about a MILLION ON MY FACE. i now have NONE. good luck.

after you skin dries up. use a
oil free lotion. to keep your skin hydrated
always clean your face at night
and in the morning .
it takes about 2-3weeks
if you do it all.
and keep up on your skin
dont just use it and when your skin clears
