... well that's hardly a rationalization for a death in war... although I have heard it before...
it seems to be mainly because they can't rationalize the death any other way...

I think this is THE worst "question" I've ever seen on here.
1. You said ..."my fellow American soldiers." I highly doubt that you are an American soldier! Of course it's possible I'm wrong, but I certainly hope that most of our soldiers are smarter than this.
2. Your supposed quote about what republicans are (almost like) saying is ridiculous. I have NEVER heard anybody say that! Who are you Cindy Sheehan?
3. "We want the soldiers safe and to return home", you attribute this to democrats? Have you heard statements by John Murtha calling our soldiers murderers and rapists? I believe most Americans want our soldiers safe and we all want them home, the difference is when. Generally speaking leftists want them home now before the job is done, those on the right want them to stay and finish what was started, while being SUPPORTED by those back home!
Whoever wrote this question, soldier or not, is VERY immature and biased. And has the situation backwards. I know ALOT of rerublicans, we are the ones who put on charity functions to support the troops!

Everyone wants soldiers to return home safe from war and nobody wants war. Those that enlist enlist knowing there is a chance in the case of war they could be called to fight, It is in the papers they sign when they enlist that they are going to be on a recall list once they serve their time. Anyone who doesn't realize this didn't learn anything from Desert Storm.

Everyone wants the soldiers home. The soldiers want to go home. But to bring them home before the job is done is to disrespect those who bravely gave their lives and those wounded on the fields of battle. We all should all be thankful for their service. I know I am!

I'm with the Republicans on this one. The reason they say this is NOT to spit on the soldiers. It's because of people like Cindy Sheehan, who try to blame the president for their loved ones' death.
Our military IS voluntary, therefore if they're killed in combat, it's because they CHOSE to join the military.
At least the Republicans still say that each and every service-member who has gone to Iraq and Afghanistan is a HERO, and that they WEREN'T "dying for nothing."
No, it's mostly Democrats that have said that soldiers are "dying for nothing." What a nice thing to say to those who CHOOSE to serve our country.

I think your information is not being viewed properly. Volunteer soldiers do know what they are getting into. Each has their own reason for joining and fighting for thier country. Democrats are volunteer soldiers too and they know what they are getting into. But untill you have actually done it, no one really knows for sure. Try it and quit complaining about it. Find out for yourself and quit letting others think for you.

Right there, you show your heartless again, how do you get blood through your system? Republicans never say, "so stop complaining" They say "I am sorry about your lose, and i will remember him/her, and I will have the utmost respect for him/her." Ok maybe that was a little long, but not nearly as stupid as yours.
