In 2007, I see the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series and their first World Series in 99 years.

Basically, I see them performing as follows. One dude will stand behind a base (home base) with a big wooden stick. Another dude will squat behind the same base. A bunch of dudes will be standing around in the field, scratching their crotches and spitting some crap on the ground (I guess it's tobacco spit).

One dude will throw a bunch of balls at the dude with the stick. The dude who throws the ball will evenually get impingement syndrome. A bunch of dudes in the field will take turns chasing after the ball that gets hit by the stick. They will tumble on the ground and scratch their crotches some more. At the end of the season, some people will be happy, and others will be sad.

How do I know all this? I have ESP.

I hope to see the Cubs win it in my lifetime! Hopefully Prior and Wood won't be on the dl next season.

depends on if they insist on keeping wood and prior on their roster. their arms are dead now. cut the umbilical. sign free agent pitchers. and hope for a healthy derek lee. then they might finish 3rd in the central. c'mon, it's the cubs. they couldn't even win when they had banks, santo, and billy williams.

Works for me!
Next year hopefully they'll have a solid pitching staff and won't have too many rookies having to start.
