Someone gave me something that has hurt my feelings somewhat. I truly believe they weren't trying to hurt me. That's why I say "somewhat." I was wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences.

Help is asked for. Meddling is not.

There's fine lines between "helping", "crippling" and "meddling"

Helping, it just that...a boost.

Crippling, is just that...doing so much that the person doesn't do on their own anymore.

Meddling...they'll be sure to tell you when you've gone too far into their business.

im probaly not helpin ya, but in my opinion if ur meddling that person usually doesnt want ur help and probaly doesnt need it either,
helping is if a person needs someone and ur there for them.
some people can misunderstand ur help,

helping someone implies no hidden strings, the motive is only to help. meddling implies a hidden motive or conditions for the help.

Well, if it aint a need, it may be meddlin in their business.
But if it is a serious need, u are helpful instead of meddlin.
So, its best to give folks space when they want it....its a free country and soldiers fight so we can be free.
