I always go for the gal with the meat on her bones... more survivable, actually, in most survival situations.
In most scenarios of survival, food is rare for the first two weeks. Someone dies. Usually the skinny ones.
Then, after the first two weeks, the group has probably got the food gathering thing up to par, and the lovely fatties all eat well, feast actually. The skinny ones are dead... no reserves on their frames.
Yeah, give me another 'fatty' so we will survive together!
The skinny one goes anorexic, hypoglycimic, and dies within about two weeks, and the rest of us eat her.

since the outter has little to do with the inner, i'd save the one that i felt was more worth saving. dang, that sounds SO harsh cuz i know i'd want to save them both. any human life has value.
