Connie stood out right from the start. Although (some of) the others had great voices, they were not suitable for a demanding role in a musical.

I think Connie really showed her star quality by the way she handled having to sing Lonely Goatherd, the most difficult song given to anyone during the show.

I have my tickets for the show, and I can't wait to see Connie wowing the audience.

This is the only programme of its type where I thought all ten finalists were really talented. I reckon it was a serious showcase. I was especially fond of Abbie's gutsy attitude. I am sure all the girls will be supported by The Dark Lord and find something to suit their individual needs. I'm not sure about the voting aspect but think that Connie is perfect for the role and will wow the West End.

Which one is Connie? I thought the one that didn't win had a much better voice. And the winner has an irritating face. I would say the wrong girl won.

Thank Duck, its finished I hate musicals so a programme about us the general puplic have to fund the BBC to create a Maria for a multi Millionarie is c**p. And to think you will only see her sing in Glorious London and have a short career like all these other BBC shows remember Fame Academy.

YES Connie deserved to win totally. I also like Siobhan, but Helena was very unpleasant to watch

It was the first time i watched the programme but within minutes i could see that she was the star of the show. She gave me goosebumps. The other girl was good but not good for that particular part. I might even look into buying tickets to the musical but i'm sure that they will be snapped up very quickly

She was definitely good, but she's never given a performance that's really drawn me in - I've never been on the edge of my seat. Others definitely had that wow factor more, eg Leanne and Simona (though I know they weren't right for the part in other ways).

i stopped watching after a few weeks cos i couldn't stand Andrew Lloyd Webber he knew who he wanted for the role pretty early on so i thought watching the rest of the series was a waste of time!!
