Why does one need to be perfect? Perhaps the goal is not perfection, but just a betterment towards perfection. Or, perhaps, the goal is just being better than the other guy.

Anyway, your assumption is wrong. Practice does not make perfect. If anything, it makes permanent.

But, I will go with Descartes, that we are all perfect. This sh!t-hole of a world is the best that it could be.

Because practice makes you better at something. Practice makes perfect is just a saying, but practice is good.

That's funny. If both those statements were true then you would have to conclude that nobody practices. Except they do, so you have to look deeper. I agree with one of the answers that says practising any skill will eventually make it perfect, i.e. no mistakes. But the practicioner will have spent so much time on that one skill, that they will be lacking in other areas. I practice thinking so I don't forget how to.

Well everyone is gooD at some THINGS. Like some people is good at physic some is good at mathetic some is good at knowing how to spell words. There are a lot of type of people who use skills and learn. But like for pratice you still can make you be good at somethings. And by doing that for example i pratice running 10 min without stopping and then i did that like 6 5 times in 8 months and for beep test i got like stage 11 which means i am good at it.
