I really want to apply to the Irish Studies program at Boston College. Considering it is one of a kind I'm not sure if it is extremely competitive or there is only one program for a reason (no interest). I have a 3.39 GPA, 1110 GRE with a 5 on my writing, and pretty good letters of reference. However I only have limited research experience. Please let me know if you could help me with this question. Thanks!

BC generally is a very prestigious school, but it does tend to be on the expensive side. I'm not sure if that particular program is competitive, but it probably is since BC is overall very hard to get into.
