Alright I'm a 19 Year old guy and I can honestly say that I have never masturbated in my life. I was always taught when I was young that this was wrong.

I've had the urge to touch myself down their but never actually did it. I was also taught that you should not do anything sexual until you are married and this has cause several girls to break up with me and call me a loser.

Anyways is it normal for people to masturbate or do sexual things before marriage or was a told a bunch of lies.

It is totally wrong not to enjoy something that God has given you to enjoy. If people told you it was wrong, it was because they were told it was wrong, etc, etc. If it feels good, do it, don't deny yourself pleasure.

I think it may be normal to engage in this , however I think it is best to keep it at a minimum. There may come a time when after you have masturbated and gotten so used to your own self, that when someone else does it , it won't satisfy you so much. I think it is okay to do sexual things before marriage , but I always think it is best for you to be on the same page as the other person before you get that far. You don't want them to think you mean the world to them because you are having sex, when it doesn't really mean the same thing to you.

Good for you! I'm a 21 f and I was taught the same thing. Though it may be what everyone else is doing, that doesn't make it right. How many other things that you learned from the bible have become commonplace now? SO many... so don't sell out just cause it's become the norm. I respect your self control and your resolve to hold off on sex and anything related to it until you're married... very commendable. And those girls who left you for it? Don't mourn over the losses.. they weren't right for you, and that was a way for you to find that out. Now, your WIFE on the other hand? She'll thank you for saving yourself for her.

hi there, well everyone is different, we are all individuals including you, i have an 18 year old, i did not tell him he had not to do it, as all little boys did, what i did was tell him if he was going to, he must do it in private, bear in mind he was only two at the time lol, i was told to take that approach so he would not think it was a dirty thing to do as he was growing up, that way when he did get the urge i knew he would not do it in front of anyone, i think it is a natural thing to do. as for saving yourself for marriage that again is entirely your decision, save the sex for marriage, but if you get the urge again, go for it let, off some steam....
stress less lol..........
i hope this helps

there's nothing wrong with masturbating or not masturbating. most people do it, it's normal and healthy and has no dangerous side effects. the safest sex you can have is with yourself.

there's also nothing wrong with keeping your virginity until marriage. it's a precious gift that you can never get back once you give it away. girls who call you a loser for respecting yourself and them don't deserve you. the world won't end if you have sex before marriage either. that has to be your own personal choice.

back in the old days they did say that it is wrong, but nowadays they say it is good for you and that men need to do that to help relieve their selves. You could get all blocked up and it could cause prostate problems. my advice would be to do it occasionally if you have to...
