I am not a racist in any sense of the word, but I received an email about the new Muslim postage stamp, to not buy it, boycott it! My concern is about, Muslims are not the ones taking God out of our Pledge of Allegiance, taking the 10 commandments out of Public places..I was raised Christian, but don't believe in one religion is better than the other...I wasn't compelled to forward this email to protest the new stamp..Mainly due to we aren't suppose to judge others b/c of race, religion, etc...that is my belief...and one of the main problems people are having with this stamp, is it is a Religious "Christmas" type stamp...So because we as Americans or people that believe in Christ are being ridiculed for having "Christmas", but because our government has approved this stamp, so now there is this insane hatred b/e of so many things that has happened, and the things that have happened and the people that have attacked us are Muslim religion, but that doesn't mean all Muslims are bad!!

The "Eid" stamp was issued in 2001 when the postage was $.34. It was reissued at $.37 and is being reissued at $.39. There is also a Christmas stamp with Ignacio Chacón-an’s portrait of Madonna and child with a bird, a Kwansaa stamp, a Hanukkah stamp, a snowflake stamp and a Santa stamp. They will all be available in October.

All the proceeds from the sale of stamps go to the US government.

There's an actual Muslim postage stamp?! I don't believe the Muslims are taking prayer out of schools or Christ out of Christmas. The liberals are doing that because we "mustn't offend anyone unusual or different." Their the ones who thought this thing was a good idea! See, we have to make sure that everyone in the world knows that Americans don't hate all Muslims, just the crazy, mixed up Muslims who killed almost three thousand people on 9/11. Like we need to bend over backwards to prove it. I think the Muslims need a strong message of "We're not going to be bullied!" I won't be using that stamp and I don't think anyone I know will. They'll have to wall paper the post office with it!

That is a really old e-mail, and I do agree that even if it were true really people show not protest against it.
