I heard you can get away with murder if you can pay for the right lawyer. So basically you would pay to not go to jail. Is this true, and what lawyer would be best for an international trial. One single murder, not mass. By the way, Johnny Cochran is dead. lol

Okay I made a mistake with the question. I mean "intranational", it would involve a murder in one US state but not in my home state.

It only helps when the prosecution's case or their team is weak and / or your case or team is stronger.

If fifty people see you walk into a restaurant and shoot your wife to death you're gonna go down - big-time! Not gonna matter what your lawyer's name is or how much you pay him, is it?

On the other hand - no witnesses, weak prosecution, pathetic judge, and better than average defense counsel and you're liable to walk a la O.J.

You may be killed while in custody during an international trial. Look at Slobodan Milosevic. Even Saddam is likely to be killed in custody when he feels that he has to blurt secrets to stay alive. I would retain a former US Attorney General for an international trial and Good Luck....

i dunno, but i heard that there is a law still on the books in Texas that if you commit a crime, you charges cannot be held if you warned the person the crime was commited against.

like if i wanted to commit murder, and i told him/her what i was going to do, how i was going to do it, and when i was going to do it (within a reasonable amount of time); then theoretically i could get away with murder

the law is supposed to be really old

No one gets away with murder.
they only think that they do.
You die, and then the judgement.
We are all going to die.
If anyone wants to carry that kind of baggage to their grave, so be it.
One good thing is, you don't have to listen to me, listen to the sane logical part of your own psyche, and/or inner being.
