destiny quantity F = P(a million+ i )^n $1575 = 1000(a million+i)^3 ==> a million.575 = (a million+i)^3 You remedy this by employing taking the log of each and every side log a million.575 = 3 log (a million+i) ==> .1973 = 3 log (a million+i) ==> log (a million+i) = .0658 now take the anti log or 10^.0658 = a million+i = a million.163 remedy for i = 0.163 interest = 16.3% Use an same formula as above except divide the interest fee by employing 4 (this is compounded quarterly) and multiply the 6 x 4 because there are 24 interest funds. F = 1350 ( a million + 0.375/4)^24 ==> F = 1350(a million.251) F = $1688.86 you're correct ! except you shouldn't use the letter A for destiny quantity...you'll use it later to designate an Annuity or customary fee.
