This really is an almost impossible question to answer fairly by posters here because very few people here have ever been to more than one NBA arena (that of their own local team) so the only real knowledge we have is from watching the games on TV.
I've been to the old Sports Arena in LA, the Forum in La, the Mavs old Reunion Arena and the Staples Center. The only one here still in use by NBA teams is Staples. To a true sports fan (unless you're very rich and can go courtside) Staples mostly sucks. There are too many nose bleed seats too far away from the court. You can't see the action unless you're following the big screen so you're better off watching it at home. Where Staples does score high marks is their outdoor balconies where you can drink, smoke and mingle, and their quick food lines and having more rest rooms.
The best arena (no longer used) that was fan friendly was the old Sports Arena. There really were no bad seats and wherever you set you felt closer the the game

My favorite NBA Arena is The Palace of Auburn Hills where the Detroit Pistons play basketball.
