AH cool I'm 13 and i have "a new girl" kind of a friend and i have a few ideas that will make her and you feel like your just one of them!
1.when having this sleepover first talk about the simple things like i don't know boys!
2.When your done with that then switch it off to school and slowly make it about something funny or the obvious about YOU and make sure there is no awkward silence in the room!!!
3.PLAY SOME GAMES!make them feel they can have fun with you and not feel that your just someone they know!
4.Maybe you could do the old scary story thing or just have some awesome stories about you and make sure they share!!!
5.Most of all don't expect gifts on your b-day because their ALMOST cool with you and they might not know what you like and don't push them about that!
6.LASTLY make sure to eat lots of cake!!!

For my 13th birthday party I did this interesting game where you have to solve a mystery. It sounds kinda cheesey but it went over SO well. It's fun becasue you get to assign a character to each of your friends and then kind of slowly figure out clues about each one until you can discover who the "bad guy" is. I did one called "Barbecueue with the Vampire" which is in the link I gave you. I did the game two years in a row because it wa so much fun, but that one was better than the one I did the next year "Roswell that Ends Well." It's more fun because all the characters are crazy -- some turn out to be werewolves, some are vampire hunters, some are vampires, some are sort of like frankensteins. And you don't find out until you're already playing, so the characters are assigned at random and it's fun to see who ends up as what.

Anyway, it's good because it's a social game and you can chat and joke and if you want you can take breaks and go eat or do something more active. I think it's a couple of hours long. I'd reccommend it. If these girls seem like they'd be into something kind of quirky like that.

The only problem is that it has to have a certain number of players to work, and I'm not sure if you have that many "friends" yet, or if you have too many.

Anyway, good luck! Do something different than just "hanging out" becasue that could get boring. Play silly fun games like pin the tail on the donkey. There's one I love, called "pop the balloon" where you blow up balloons to like the size of a canteloupe and tie them with ribbons to your ankle, one per person, and then play a CRAZY game of trying to pop the other people's balloons. The last one with an un-popped balloon wins. This was really popular among all my friends.

Then you can do typical sleepover games like "10 fingers" and "big booty." I'd avoid Truth or Dare, because it always makes people uncomfortable.

Good luck! Have a great time.

Do something that reflects who you are and you're interests. I know it sucks being the new kid because that's who I was in seventh grade and now I'm an eighth grader and I pretty much get along with everyone in my class

Try to think of them as best you can. People respond when they know you really care about them. [What kind of party would you enjoy?]
