I have a terrible head cold. My head is stopped up and feels real heavy. My ears are plugged. and when I swallow my throat feels blocked. What do you all recomend that I take. thanks

Drink lost of water, hot tea with lemon help great! Also, have someone get you Vitamin C-- it will fight the infection. Try Sudafed, stay in bed, drink lots of liquids, and you will feel better before too long.

Assuming you are not on prescription meds or have high blood pressure, try some Sudafed (plain Sudafed, decongestant only) and some Vick's nasal decongestant spray (saline is good for some things but if you're really stopped up this will help) Don't use these meds for more than a few days. Your cold will last a week or so no matter what you do so don't expect a quick cure, just some symptom relief.
